Oh, boy, this is a tough call. I don’t think I’ve loved a book and hated it at the same time. And if I did, I can’t recall the book. What about you, guys? Any such books?

Only when the author leaves me hanging at the end and the sequel isn’t due out for about a year.

One book that comes to mind is War and Peace. It’s a massive book and I wanted to shake some sense into the stupidity of the characters, but it’s such an exceptional book! Those Russian classics are usually so great but so annoying. I loved it but I hated it at the same time.
