Can my dreams have dreams? Hmm…

I’m currently looking back at 2018 and reflecting on my walk with God, and I am still surprised at how fast the time just flew by! However, I cannot complain about 2018, for it drew me closer to God in many ways. I was reminded that I can’t always have what I want on my time and peace was given to me in ways I couldn’t even begin to describe.
I also learned to let go of unimportant things that I was holding onto. I’ve also thought about revamping the blog, but that would most definitely come next year God’s willing.
I’m taking a break from blogging this month… from this Wednesday God’s willing. During this time, I won’t be logging in at all. I plan to come back sometime in January or February God’s willing, so I’m going to take my jacket off…
…and just relax and bask in God’s presence. I’m going to miss you, but we’ll reconcile soon. 💙
Blessed décembre to all and keep walking with Jesus.
Just yesterday, it seemed like it was the beginning of the year and I was contemplating my next move with life, work, and this blog. Now, we’re in novembre and whoa! The year is closing to make way for another new one be it God’s willing.
Regardless of the time getting away, I look at each month as a new beginning.
Despite having a story to work on, I won’t be participating in NaNoWriMo this time around. I don’t have the energy or passion for writing as I once had. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy writing (from time to time) whether it’s short stories or blog posts, but I don’t really have that dose of special inspiration anymore. However, I’ll be sharing snippets of the story I wanted to work on for NaNo.
I’ll probably share how I came up with the title, introduce the identical duo, and tackle some twin stereotypes. I’ll also like to do the One Word At A Time Challenge syncing it with CRFT, but I’m not so sure at the moment. If you see too many twins in your reader during this month, don’t be alarmed. 😉
And all the best to all who are participating in NaNoWriMo this year. 😄
Blessed novembre to all and keep walking with Jesus.
I know I don’t sound excited, but trust me, I am. 😁
I’ve been looking back at 2018 thus far and doing some reflecting. I’ve also been examining the changes and growth within me. I am not perfect and I am still a work in progress, but I’ll always take every opportunity to go to God in prayer and seek forgiveness if I have to. I am thankful for every breath I am given for every day I get closer to my Maker.
And time is certainly getting shorter.
Every month I make plans to start something or complete something (tying up loose ends), but for some reason, I never get around to doing so. Also, I am in the process of revamping the blog once again, but those changes would come early next year God’s willing. Once again, I’ll try to make it my duty to get the product review done and the Tobago trip for this month.
Blessed octobre to all and keep walking with Jesus.
I thank God for giving me life and bringing me this far to see yet another month. It’s la rentrée (back to school season) so it’s going to be a little busy.
August was a blessing and I got to reunite with the bestie for an outing which we’ll be talking about on our blogs sometime in the near future. I was not well for the past few days so I had to stay in bed and rest hence the reason why I didn’t have the chance to schedule posts or read blogs. I’m still not 75% but I’ll get there with God’s good grace.
Last month, I completed some tags and I have one or two more that I’ll like to get to, so I think I’ll do those. I didn’t get a chance to update French Friday (I haven’t been learning French recently, but I got into another language by accident. Which one you ask? Stick around to find out!) and I didn’t even update the TC Movie Challenge although I do have the review for Legend written on paper. I still have the Tobago trip to talk about and a product review, so I’ll make an effort to get those done. I also hope to get some Bible studies done for I’ve been learning a lot and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Blessed septembre to all and keep walking with Jesus.
I thank the great Lord above for giving me breath to see another month! I don’t know what I’ll do without Him for He is the air that I breathe and every beat of my heart.
July was a blast! France won the World Cup, my bestie celebrated another milestone and right after, Mission: Impossible – Fallout SMASHED the Box Office!
Okay, so here’s the thing: I keep promising to complete tags and challenges almost every month, but I keep putting them off. This month, I’ll make an effort to complete the majority of them. Book reviews will be back and so will the Tom Cruise Movie Challenge reviews… maybe. I’ll see how best I can cramp them in this month. I also plan on updating French Friday and Positive Monday. I didn’t get to talk about my earlier trips, so maybe I’ll include those in there as well.
Blessed août to all and keep walking with Jesus.
We welcomed July with heavy rains last evening, so I thought this scripture was fitting.
The World Cup wraps this month – the 15th to be precise – and I’ve been loving the atmosphere so far. The euphoria of the greatest event on the planet – it was never you, Carnival – has captured many attention and hearts globally, but please, make sure it doesn’t capture your soul. I’ve read a news article in which two fans took their lives in two separate incidents. One took his life when Argentina lost 3-0 to Croatia and the other when they got knocked out of the tournament by France.
Bottom line is, this is just football and there is no need for anyone to take his/her life over it. The young men who took their lives were not even Argentinians; they hailed from India. I’ve been supporting France for years now and if they don’t win this WC, it’s not going to be the end of the world for me. It is selfish to take our lives over trivial and meaningless things.
We die for mortal idols, yet, we won’t die for the One who gave His life for us if the chance presented itself. Be careful of who/what you worship for these mortals aren’t gods; they’re flesh and blood just as us.
Again, I won’t be doing any challenges this month. Last month, I said I wanted to complete the tags and challenges I’ve been neglecting for months, but never got around to it. I’ll try to see what I can do this month.
Blessed juillet to all and keep walking with Jesus.
