Lawlessness: A young woman decided to have some fun by licking a tub of ice cream and placing the Blue Bell container back on the shelf. She was identified by police and would’ve faced up to 20 years in jail and a $10,000 fine for tampering with food had she not been seventeen. She is not the only one. A 36-year-old man in Louisiana was also charged for licking a tub of Blue Bell ice cream and putting it back on the shelf. When the police came to arrest him, he said that he only wanted to be “famous”.

I have no idea why ice cream, but this so-call #IceCreamChallenge is getting out of hand. 

As if one health hazard is not enough, this decent human being decided to go to Walmart, gargle Listerine, spit it back into the bottle and return it to the shelf! 

I am not okay with this disgusting challenge. You cannot just walk into a store and pick up a product, tamper with it and place it back on the shelf for unsuspecting consumers to purchase. Even if this challenge is staged, it is disgusting behavior. This selfish entitled generation is so starved for attention that they’ll do anything to be the center of it. This is what happens when we live in a godless do what thou wilt society.

And if that’s not enough, last year, a YouTuber from Barcelona pranked a homeless man by giving him toothpaste-fill Oreos. This same YouTuber (Kanghua Ren aka ReSet) is also accused of filling sandwiches with cat feces and offering them to children and the elderly. He has since been sentenced to 15 months in prison and fined $22,300.

We’re living in the days of Noah and Revelation. All that God said will come to pass has/is coming to pass before our very eyes every day. Please keep this corrupted world in your prayers for there are many souls yet to come to repentance.

Book #147: Everything is Mama

I actually didn’t read this book. I just listened to Jimmy Fallon read it, so it counts for something, right? Right?? Anyway, I was on YouTube minding my business when I came across a recommended video of Fallon – of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon – hosting an interactive story time for kids. He read from his book Everything Is Mama, the follow-up to Your Baby’s First Word Will Be Dada. I don’t watch his show, but his voice is Blue’s Clues material so I decided to give him a listen and before you know it, I was smiling as I took a trip down childhood memory lane.

When I was a child, everything for me was ‘Mama!’ And still is at many times. 💙

In this book, animal mamas try to teach their children names of certain objects, but each animal baby responds with “Mama” except for the duckling (Why little duckie? WHY?). The book does not have a lot of words – or context for that matter – as it’s aimed for children now learning to read. I love that at the beginning of the book, it says “Everything is Mama, according to you, but there are other fun words you’ll want to know too.” But I love the message at the end even more: “Everything is Mama, according to you. But one day you’ll see Mama’s everything is YOU.” 💙

The animals are adorable so well done to the illustrator.

Favorite twins rescue baby bears!

This was perhaps, the cutest video I’ve seen for the year! Also, them boys need to start locking their doors. They’re living out in the wilderness and although it’s great to be surrounded by nature, one still needs to be careful. 

When the book nerd knows more than the bookstore employee

Pretty accurate! And it happens over the phone as well. I called my favorite bookstore earlier this year to inquire about a book and the employees didn’t know anything about the book so I had to direct them to their YA section which they didn’t know they had. We need people who are passionate about books to work at the bookstores!

Lucas and Marcus play hide and seek… at Walmart?

First, the title was clickbait because they did not get kicked out of Walmart. As if the store is going to kick them out when they’ll be bringing the customers! And they didn’t really play hide and seek, but this video was their best I’ve seen in a while. It reminded me of their old stuff.

Well, it’s that time again. I normally list the videos in the order I watch them, so let’s see what gold I struck this month. 😃

Best prank ever? 

I’ll be the first to admit that I dislike pranks, but when the Dobre twins are out there pulling pranks on one another, I tend to find it amusing because their pranks are mostly harmless. However, Lucas pranked his twin into thinking that he was missing (some bad acting on some of the actors’ part in my opinion), but when Marcus got him back, he almost lost his marbles. I know you don’t mess with a man’s car because that’s their baby, wifey, girlfriend, babe etc., but this prank was EPIC! Lucas 1 Marcus 100.

Testing our detective skills! 🔎

Tammy and I put our detective skills to the test with this Bright Side riddle package and got 6 out of 10 right. We’re still salty about the one where the snorkeler died in the forest. 😒

3 Marker Challenge with my favorite twins

I enjoyed watching this video for it made me smile. Demi won the first round, Lucas the second and Marcus the third. Little Alex is not good at coloring and he’s a spoiled crybaby. I dislike seeing him feature in the twins’ videos sometimes because he’s super annoying and not a good team player. Marcus is good with girls (on two occasions he told his brothers not to forget the flowers and he’s good at choosing flowers too. I guess he knows what girls like 😆) and he’s good with children. I hope he finds someone special one day for he’s so precious.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout trailer

This trailer is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time and I am living for it. It feels like it’s the final chapter in the Ethan Hunt saga and I look forward to this movie in July God’s willing. I feel like it’s going to be the biggest opening for an MI film.

I think it’s time for Ethan Hunt to get his own cartoon. And if you’re reading this, vote yay or nay for a short Ethan Hunt story which I’ll most likely publish in April God’s willing. Ah, don’t bother. I’m sure I’ll write it anyway.

Tom learns to fly a helicopter for MI 6

This man learned to fly a helicopter in a short period of time (2000 hours) just for an action sequence in the upcoming MI movie. There’s a scene in which he is flying, acting, and filming at the same time. I’m sure if I look up the word commitment in the dictionary, a photo of TC will be next to it.

Hayley’s beautiful cover

This woman is gifted with music and listening to her voice is soothingly refreshing. I subbed to her channel last month and I’m happy whenever I receive a notification from her. You can find Hayley over on her blog red letters.

Benefits of… banana peels?

Banana has a lot of benefits. It can help with acne, fertilize plants, whiten your teeth, polish your shoes, soothe bug bites etc. Some I knew, some I didn’t. Overall, this video was informative. 👍

I may have mentioned this in earlier posts that I frequent YouTube a lot, not for music videos, but for interesting, fun, and learning content. I’ve subscribed to some awesome channels and thought I’d share a few of the videos I’ve enjoyed for the month.

Twins teach their 21-year-old best friend to ride a bike

If it’s one channel that I’ve come to love over on YT, it’s Lucas and Marcus. The Dobre twins always try to make family-friendly oriented content even when pulling softcore pranks on their brothers and parents. 

Anyways, earlier this month, the twins taught their cameraman and best friend, Steve, how to ride a bike. It was a really nice experience for Steve who mastered the art of bike riding by the end of the video.

Surprise, Marcus!

The twins turned 19 on Sunday and Lucas attempted to surprise his twin with a birthday party at their parents’ gym. Was it the best birthday party ever? I don’t know, but Marcus was sure appreciative of the gesture.

Reading books is amazing

One of my favorite BookTubers, Jesse lists 30 things that he loves about reading books. I might have identified with many, if not all of them.

Sometimes, you have to know when things should grind to a halt.

YouTube Week was a success because I’ve completed all of the topics I set out to do, so I close here for the weekend. 🙂

See what I did there with the headline? That is called clickbait. It’s like trolling on YouTube. For the sake of gaining more likes and subscribers, some YouTubers attempt to deceive viewers with a juicy title and when you click on it expecting what the title says, it’s usually something else.

Well, that’s it for YouTube Week and I thank you wonderful readers for coming along for the ride. The regular schedule should be back next week God’s willing including book and movie reviews. Have a blessed weekend everyone. 🙂

The dark/weird side of YouTube

Like every other site out there, one must be careful of the content that they choose to watch on YouTube for you might just be on the dark side of YT.

YouTube is a nice place to unwind, but sometimes you can find yourself on the strange side of it and it’s not a nice place to be.

The Dark Side

It is unfortunate that some of the sites on YT are geared towards luring young children (and pedophiles) to disturbing material. Unsupervised young children are watching sexually suggestive videoes which feature the likes of Elsa and Spiderman in comprising positions (as the video explains below).

Channels such as SevenSuperGirls was recently exposed by several websites as catering to perverts’ fetishes. The channel recruits girls (all under 18) worldwide and they’re featured wearing bikinis and leotards most of the time. Why? Aiming the channel at teens is just a cover for the dark and disturbing exploitation of young girls. 

Tosh.O exposed the channel as a dark pedophile corner which has over 12 billion views. 

Parents, you shouldn’t be leaving your young children unsupervised on the web period. Please, open your eyes, for there are many sick and twisted people out here who neglect to think about children when they’re creating so call “entertaining” content. Just as social media sites, YouTube seem content on not doing anything, because of the views and revenue.

The Weird/Creepy Side

I don’t know how these videos even get made because they’re the most messed up clips online and they can scare the bees out of the hives. From creepy animations to ads you’ll never see on TV, the creepy side of YT can forever scar you. Well, those who can’t stomach the creepiness. I keep wondering if some of these uploaders are demon possessed because the creepy level is unreal!

Thursday Ten: favorite YouTube channels

Subscribe? *shrugging* why not?

I have a few YouTube channels that I frequent whenever I get the time. It’s around 15, but I’m going to just randomly put down whatever comes to mind first. Let’s do this!

1. Matthew Santoro

This lovable shiny bald head goof probably has the brightest smile you’ll ever see on YouTube. He is my utmost favorite YouTuber. Santoro mainly posts “50 Amazing Facts” and top 10 lists videos. I dubbed him the Dr. Reid of YouTube and I love learning from every area he covers on his channel even if it’s haunted history. 

2. Lucas and Marcus

They make me wish I had a twin.

My twins! Well, I’ve featured them quite a bit this week, so I won’t go into many details. They post videos about pranks, gymnastics, and challenges, and sometimes the entire family makes an appearance.

One day, these two lovable idiots would go far with a prank and their mom would kick them out of the house. They’re lucky they have cool parents.

3. Dobre Brothers

“We’re the Dobre brothers and we do backflips.”

This channel is relatively new, and they have 12 videos so far. It consists of twins Marcus and Lucas and their older brothers, Darius and Cyrus. So far, they’ve posted some really cool harmless pranks like the sticky note on the twins’ car (video below).

4. Fédération Française de Football

This is the national French football team channel. They mostly post training sessions, highlights from games, and interviews with the players. 

5. Tottenham Hotspur

Another football channel that I like. I recently enjoyed captain Hugo Lloris’s saves against Juventus. 

6. Comme une Française

Geraldine is my overall favorite French teacher on YT. She takes her time to explain what words and phrases mean making you pay attention. I highly recommend her channel for English speakers interested in learning this beautiful language. 

7. Lily Petals World

I love interracial couples and this Blasian family is too cute. Lily is from Korea and James is from Kenya. The pair met and fell in love in Korea. I love their channel because it gives you an intimate insight into Korean culture. Love is a feeling, not a color.

8. Meet The Eagles

I recently came across this couple and I think they were cute, so I stayed a little bit. I am relatively new to them so I’ll watch more of their videos in my spare time. Ovoke and Giuseppe are an interracial pair (Nigerian/Dutch/Italian) and they live in the Netherlands. Love is a feeling, not a color.

9. Learn French With Frencheezee

This channel was actually recommended by YouTube and I am happy that they did because this channel is incredibly helpful when it comes to learning French.

10. Saddleback Church

I came across this channel also recently by accident and decided to stay.
