Day 3: A song that reminds you of summertime

The potential:

Summertime by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. Not gonna lie. I loved this track when I was younger although the only words I knew was ‘Summer, summer, summertime!’ 😆

The runner-up:

Boys of Summer – Don Henley. Loved this song when I was younger as well. 

The winner:

Summer of ’69 by Bryan Adams! I used to be a huge Adams fan and whenever I listened to this song, it came like reminiscing about the good old days. Fun Fact: Adams would’ve been 10 in 1969; he co-wrote this song with a friend who was 17 in ’69. Jimmy and Jody were real people Adams knew, so the song is like a mix of both of their lives (Adams & his partner), but Adams OWNS this track.
