It’s always a pleasure to make stories out of pictures. Also, there is no Riverdale to review this week so this would have to do.

It’s always a pleasure to make stories out of pictures. Also, there is no Riverdale to review this week so this would have to do.
I actually had something else planned for today’s top ten, but there’s enough time in the world to talk about books. Since the start of the second season of Riverdale, I’ve been doing weekly reviews, and most of them, if not all, centered around the best character from the show, Jughead.
Today, I bring you ten reasons why I dig Forsythe Pendleton Jones III aka Jughead. This should’ve been done a long time ago, but now is also good so let’s talk about why I like this tall, dark, and brooding character. 🙂
Cole Sprouse is the man. I remember watching him alongside his twin on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and I was team Cody all the way. Cole was the perfect candidate to portray Jughead Jones; I don’t see no other.
Call me bias if you want, but when I was younger, I loved and adored stories with characters who were librarians or writers. Jughead writes and he’s dedicated to his craft. When he isn’t writing, he’s eating; when he isn’t eating, he’s writing.
He’s also a cinephile.
If it’s one thing I love about Jughead is the fact that he constantly searches for the truth. In season one, finding out what truly happened to Jason Blossom was his top priority.
His sarcasm is off the radar and I love it for he’s a master at this wonderful art.
Unlike his best friend Archie, Jughead knows what he wants, and he has his eyes on one girl, the lucky Betty Cooper. Throughout the first season, I watched him devote his time and attention to her. He was there for her when she found out the truth about her sister Polly and always made time from his schedule to just be by her side. They’re soulmates.
When I read books, I look for that special friendship bond because I’m a sucker for a friendship with a strong bond and Jughead and Archie have that special chemistry that I love between friends.
It also helps that KJ and Cole are great friends in real life.
He frequents Pop’s more than anyone else and would use any excuse to get food. Just about any excuse.
The boy sure loves his stomach just like I do!
Jughead’s aesthetic is totally skater boy meets brooding writer… that was my first thought when I first saw him. The crown beanie is special because it’s a part of him and without it, he wouldn’t be Jughead.
He isn’t afraid to be weird for he does not conform to society’s trend of the norm. This is my favorite thing about him. I have a character just like this and I enjoy writing him.
Character-wise that is. I wish I had written him! He is like a younger angsty version of Dr. Spencer Reid. He is flawed, but he embraces it without trying to be perfect for anyone. I love his quirks for it is very endearing. It’s okay to be different, and he boldly makes this statement without attaching attention to himself.
That’s ten already? Time flies fast when you’re having fun!
Earlier this week, I talked about starting the Social Media Theme which would’ve kicked off with cyberbullying, but I couldn’t get around to writing any of the presented topics. I started two of them, but I did not get the time to complete and post. I know a few of you (by few, I mean two 🙂 ) had expressed interest in this topic and I apologize for the delay.
I also had to write my thoughts on Criminal Minds thus far and the premiere of the second season of Riverdale, but unfortunately, time was not my friend this week. I’ve scheduled a few posts for this weekend, but I’ll try my best to make up for Social Media Theme starting on Monday be it God’s willing.
All there’s left to do now is wish every single one of you a blessed and restful weekend! Thank you for stopping by this week to read and share your opinions. I utmost appreciate it. ❤
WARNING: prepare for an onslaught of photos and GIFs. 🙂
A week ago, I touched on what the term shipping means for crazy fandoms. This post was supposed to get done since last week, but time ran away from me.
Whenever I see two people with insane SIZZLING chemistry crackling between them, I’m like, get married already and have some babies! Then I ship it.
Although I am not a crazy shipper, I do ship a few things.
I tuned into Riverdale for Cole Sprouse, but ended up staying for Bughead:
I don’t ship them that hard, but they’re the cutest thing about the show whether they last or not.
I appreciate Wonder Woman with Superman!
They’re kindred spirits and when they kiss, it’s more than what she’ll ever have with Batman and him with Lois because you can feel the passion around the crackling electricity.
WW is not your typical ‘damsel in distress’ as Lois Lane. Like her, Kal-El has the soul of a warrior.
I honestly don’t care for 101 reasons why Supes and Diana shouldn’t be in a relationship. I don’t care how bland they appear because of their great looking ‘genes’ (deal with it!), this is my ship and I like them together.
The universe was at peace. Superman had found his soulmate. (This bit is taken from my SM WW fan fiction story 🙂
And then there is Ilsa Faust and Ethan Hunt…
Faust and Hunt are both spies. They’re outrageously talented in their respective fields, cool and confident under pressure, capable of seemingly superhuman feats of espionage excellence.
Ethan Hunt and Ilsa Faust is my other favorite ship and I hope they end up together [somehow] in MI6.
It’s the way Ethan looks at her!
They should get married and have some babies.
