When I was young, there was only one job for me and that was the library. I’ve come to realize this career move all thanks to God. If I could have any job now it’ll be to work in a bookstore or as a travel writer.

Day 4: Your Dream Job
When I was younger, I’ve always wanted to work in a library and God has blessed me with that opportunity and I am very grateful up to this day.

Cee’s Share Your World Challenge continues now!
Do you prefer a bath or shower?
I love showers!
What do you do to make a living or during the day? If you are retired what mostly occupies your day? Or if you are a student what are you studying?
I spend Monday-Fridays working 8-4 in the library. It has its ups and downs like any other job, but it’s what I’ve wanted to do ever since I was little, so I am utmost grateful to God.
Is there a stuffed animal in your bedroom?
Yes. A few. They were given to me by my sisters over the years and I just can’t find it within my heart to get rid of them.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
My sister Margaret. ❤ She was unwell recently, but she pulled through by the grace of God. I am very grateful to have her in my life and I admire her love for our Saviour.

Daily Prompt catch-up: 02nd-04th December
December 02nd: Now you see me
You have a secret superpower: the ability to appear and disappear at will. When and where will you use this new superpower? Tell us a story.
*sighs* This superpower thing is getting boring now. I guess whenever I feel the need to disappear. Like at the moment, I can disappear for a few days and sleep on end.
December 03rd: Sink or swim
Tell us about a time when you were left on your own, to fend for yourself in an overwhelming situation — on the job, at home, at school. What was the outcome?
I fend for myself pretty well. A few years ago, the library where I work was down to one person which was me and I worked a month alone, doing the displays, shelving books, taking care of the students etc. It was a pretty awesome experience!
December 04th: The power of touch
Textures are everywhere: The rough edges of a stone wall. The smooth innocence of a baby’s cheek. The sense of touch brings back memories for us. What texture is particularly evocative to you?
I don’t like touching and remembering things. However, when I touch books, I like the memories that come with them reminding me of how I acquire the book.
Share Your World for June 26th
Cee’s Share Your World Challenge is back this week! 🙂
What goal are you working on now?
At the moment, I am trying to work on my writing goals. It’s coming along slowly, but surely.
What is one thing you’re glad you tried but would never do again?
Pork. I was not even glad that I tried it in the first place.
Did you choose your profession or did it choose you?
When I was in Primary school, you can say that I always knew I’ll end up working in a library.
Best believe, librarians have a lot of fun and not the boring stereotypical type that you see on TV.
Have you ever gotten lost?
I wish! Okay, I’m kidding. No.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Like I always say, ‘Surprise me, God.” 🙂
