Day 1: A song you like with a color in the title

Growing up, I loved music to the point where I couldn’t go a day without listening to one song. Now, I don’t listen to music like before, save for a few selected gospels and selected French songs at the moment, but with this challenge, I’ll like to look back on some songs I loved when younger and how far I’ve come.

Anyway, I extremely disliked ‘Red Red Wine’ by UB40. I loved the song ‘Pink’ by Aerosmith but when I found out the true meaning behind the lyrics I discarded the song. I loved ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’ by Eiffel 65, but I’ll have to go with the melancholic ‘Nights In White Satin’ by The Moody Blues. When I first heard it, I thought it was a beautiful classic and Ray Thomas’ (R.I.P.) flute solo was a thing of beauty! I love that the video was shot in Paris and I wrote a short story base on the title at one point.

Gazing at people, some hand in hand
Just what I’m going through they can’t understand
Some try to tell me, thoughts they cannot defend
Just what you want to be, you will be in the end

And I love you
I love you

Day 3: What color are you grateful for?

I’ll always be grateful for blue eyes and blue skies. If faith had a color, it’ll definitely be blue. Such a beautiful and calming color! 💙

Day 4: What food are you most grateful for?

Whatever meal is placed in front of me to be consumed for lunch or dinner. I can’t ever complain with what the good Lord bless me with each day.

Share your world for week of October 16th

Cee’s Share Your World Challenge continues this week and I am excited to get to these questions so let’s go!

If you had to move to a country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?

The answer is basically the same as always to this question: France.

The country’s background is rich in history and to be able to see the magnificent buildings up-close, to walk down that cobblestone street in Avignon, take pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, holiday in the French Riveria, get lost in the Palace of Versailles where my favorite King once lived, to watch a football match at the Parc des Princes, to eat in the oldest French city…

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

This past week was a blur! It just went by so fast that I did not have the time to sit and write the articles that I wanted to work on for the blog. Things got pushed back and my writing stalled for just a little bit, but I am utmost grateful to have made it through the week.

February 18th: Far from normal

Green Wooden Board With Heart Hole

Many of us think of our lives as boringly normal, while others live the high life. Take a step back, and take a look at your life as an outsider might. Now, tell us at least six unique, exciting, or just plain odd things about yourself.

^ I don’t do selfies.

^ I can bend my ankles right back until they touch the floor… in heels. I’ve had people tell me that it was cool and I’ve also had people tell me that it scares them because I can break my ankles.

^ I’m in love with the law! I know I’ll never be a lawyer and I could never see myself representing a dishonest client, but I am in love with anything law and I make it my business to read up on courtroom drama and watch TV shows relating to law. My favorite law movie is The Firm. The book was also quite enjoyable.

^ Blue is my favorite color… although I mostly wear black.

^ I hold no grudges.

^ My name is Diana and I hate it when people call me Princess Diana.
