TriniMemes

It’s always nice to bump into another Trini on the blogosphere for not many locals here have the time to start up and maintain a blog. I could be wrong, but I haven’t been exactly bumping into Trinis on a regular basis since I started blogging.

This meme blog is dedicated to our local ways and pronouncing things/places such as…

Thankful Thursday: Blogger’s edition #7

Definitely not reaching anywhere with this. I think I’ll consider doing two blogs per post the next time I do this. 🤔

Today, I am grateful for Miss Leani’s blog.

Leani is a college freshman who loves makeup, fashion… simply all things beauty hence the name of her site.

Leani does not post regularly, but her blog is worth visiting if you’re into about fashion (outfits, accessories etc.) and hair care. She also shares photos from family trips. Speaking of trips, I enjoyed the South African trip that she wrote about earlier this year.

A Favorite Post| South Africa Trip

I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve never won make-up my entire life (I prefer au naturel) and I don’t really care about fashion (It takes me less than 3 minutes to get ready), but I do enjoy Leani’s blog.

I like numbering posts such as these and I don’t know why. 😆

Pop in for a visit at deontetowner

Today, I am grateful for Deonte’s blog.

I just caught up on his blog and he has realized his dream of publishing his first book all because God has guided his hands every step of the way. Make no mistake, there were times that he wanted to give up, but with God by his side, there was no stopping him. Learn more about him and his book in About.

But what I love about Deonte is how real he is especially when he talks about his faith and one can just feel his love for God in his posts. I was moved by how God worked in his family’s life when his father had a stroke and it’s a story that everyone should read. I thank God that his father is recovering well, thus proving the doctors wrong.

He is positive and uplifting and you won’t regret visiting his blog. His posts are relatable and they make you smile or reflect according to the mood.

I waited with bated breath as my sister shakes the bag, then puts her hand inside it and swish the pieces of paper around a little. Finally, she withdraws her hand and opens the piece of paper to reveal the blog that I’m grateful for today:

Thankful Thursday: Blogger’s edition #1

It’s Thursday! And this is the Thursday that I’m going to start showing my appreciation for the blogs that I follow like I said I wanted to do last month. To recap: I wrote down all of the names of the blogs that I follow on pieces of paper, put them into a bag, shake it up and had my sister choose.

So today, I’m grateful for…

Pop in for a visit at wordsandnotion.com

I just caught up with Akhila over on Words and Notion. I’m guilty of not keeping up with her blog for the Reader is kind of messed up and all the blogs I follow doesn’t always show up.

Akhila is a Quality Assurance professional and she makes words dance off the page with her thought-provoking poems. I find her Psychic Science posts intriguing and her Female Behavior series convincing.

Post Alert!| I am not always right

She sometimes features posts in her native Malayalam, a language I which I can understand! She has a book out now and it’s available on Amazon.

I have some more catching up to do, but I am thankful for this blog.

Thankful for you (coming soon)

I follow some pretty amazing blogs and I want to show how much I appreciate all of the unique bloggers who light up my face on a weekly basis.

It’ll take me some time to jot down the names of all the blogs I follow, then I’m going to put the names in a bag, shake it up, randomly select a name, and thank the blogger every other week or so.

In the meantime, keep up the wonderful blogging.
