Thank you, Yvette! 💙

Yvette over on priorhouse.blog took the time to remind me of a recurring problem with my blog: the link was not showing up for a while now – since last month or so – and I paid no real attention to it. Silly me! Yesterday, she reminded me yet again that although my comment was showing up, the link back to my blog was still not working which resulted in the blog not showing up in her Reader.

So, it was time to get down to fix the persisting problem.

At first, I Googled the possible reason behind the problem and I was told it was Gravatar and perhaps the image was poorly rated or something like that. Anyway, to make a long story short, after going around in circles, I eventually consulted the Director of this blog (God) and the Holy Spirit guided me, showing me that the problem was STARING me in the eye all along.

And just like that, the problem was fixed and the link back to the blog was working; thank You, God! I should have consulted God first. Despite yesterday being hectic, I have no excuse as to why I didn’t speak to God first. Had I done so, I wouldn’t have run around in circles for two hours or so!

And thank you, Yvette, for reminding me of the problem for you encouraged me to resolve this issue once and for all.

Anyways, today, I have 3 blogs that I want to put in the spotlight.

TriniMemes

It’s always nice to bump into another Trini on the blogosphere for not many locals here have the time to start up and maintain a blog. I could be wrong, but I haven’t been exactly bumping into Trinis on a regular basis since I started blogging.

This meme blog is dedicated to our local ways and pronouncing things/places such as…

Pop in for a visit and get familiar with some of our ways.

Thankful Thursday: Blogger’s edition #7

Definitely not reaching anywhere with this. I think I’ll consider doing two blogs per post the next time I do this. 🤔

Pop in for a visit at lightbeautysite

Today, I am grateful for Miss Leani’s blog.

Leani is a college freshman who loves makeup, fashion… simply all things beauty hence the name of her site.

Leani does not post regularly, but her blog is worth visiting if you’re into about fashion (outfits, accessories etc.) and hair care. She also shares photos from family trips. Speaking of trips, I enjoyed the South African trip that she wrote about earlier this year.

A Favorite Post| South Africa Trip

I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve never won make-up my entire life (I prefer au naturel) and I don’t really care about fashion (It takes me less than 3 minutes to get ready), but I do enjoy Leani’s blog.

I like numbering posts such as these and I don’t know why. 😆

Pop in for a visit at deontetowner

Today, I am grateful for Deonte’s blog.

I just caught up on his blog and he has realized his dream of publishing his first book all because God has guided his hands every step of the way. Make no mistake, there were times that he wanted to give up, but with God by his side, there was no stopping him. Learn more about him and his book in About.

But what I love about Deonte is how real he is especially when he talks about his faith and one can just feel his love for God in his posts. I was moved by how God worked in his family’s life when his father had a stroke and it’s a story that everyone should read. I thank God that his father is recovering well, thus proving the doctors wrong.

He is positive and uplifting and you won’t regret visiting his blog. His posts are relatable and they make you smile or reflect according to the mood.

It’s been a while since I’ve done this segment, but you know how this goes. Today, I am grateful for… And it’s someone I know! Like, really know! 😄

Pop in for a visit at momentsofconcern

The woman behind momentsofconcern, Judy James is a wonderful soul! She is all around positive and enthusiastic about learning (and sharing/teaching). Miss James is also a fantastic writer and I’ve been honored to read some of her work. She is also a true leader and she loves motivating people; her blog is evidence of that.

She hardly posts, but feel free to drop by and check out her latest post on how you can understand your purpose.

It’s been a weird week

Image result for gif hello

Greetings fellow human beings. How was your week?

I know I said that I’ll be logging in twice a week during my time away from the blogging world, but things didn’t work out this week somewhat. I logged in on Wednesday but I didn’t get the time to catch up on as many blogs as I would’ve liked to. The same thing happened yesterday which concluded in me spending close to an hour trying to read blogs. I have to be honest though, my heart wasn’t into it.

Image result for gif heart break

So I decided to log back in today and see if I can catch up on what I’ve missed in the past days, but this week wasn’t a good one for me generally speaking. I did not get as many things done as I would’ve liked. I still have emails to return and appointments to make, but it just wasn’t happening. When I got home on evenings before I know it, I was out cold until the next morning. I’ll try to get to the emails on the weekend if not this evening and I had my mind set on updating Bible Studies this weekend, but that’s most likely not going to happen.

I hope I can make up for this week sometime next week God’s willing when I’m all rested up. May your weekend be stressfree and restful.

Musings

This is where I take some time off

Hey, it’s that time already. March is here. 😃

I don’t know about you, but February went by slowly. March is here now and I look forward to what this month may bring… besides the books I’m planning to read of course! This is also the month in which I’ll be seeing less of WordPress, although I’ve started to distance myself from blogging late last month. I’m also slow in visiting blogs I follow. But fear not! I’ve scheduled enough posts and I’ll be popping in twice a week or so to catch up with blogs.

Well, at the moment, I can’t really say, but I’ll be continuing the Bible study series from next Sabbath God’s willing. Maybe I’ll share some of the stories I’m currently working on just for the fun of it. I also have some tags that I want to complete this month, so might as well do that along with some book reviews. Also, I aim to complete those long overdue social media articles! I dislike it when I start something and never finish it. 😆

How long is this ‘break’ going to continue for? I don’t know, but I’ll be around.

Somehow, this month’s challenge ties into my current blogging situation.

Looking at it now, it’s kind of eh, but I’ll see how best I can complete this challenge.

Blessed mars to all.

Thankful Thursday: Blogger’s edition #3

I waited with bated breath as my sister shakes the bag, then puts her hand inside it and swish the pieces of paper around a little. Finally, she withdraws her hand and opens the piece of paper to reveal the blog that I’m grateful for today:
