Today, Port-of-Spain was busy. There were gunshots, protests, fires, and arrests. The police came out to do their best to avoid a full-on riot that could’ve escalated into looting and more. As I write this, my heart clenches. It aches somewhat terribly for the prodigals and the non-believers that God is waiting to return home. This is no time to make friends with the world; this is the time to prepare to meet our Savior.
Time is at hand. And before things get better – our eventual Home with Christ – it’s going to get worse. The question is, are you ready to give up your life for the One that paid it all for us?
Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
Over the past few months, I’ve seen the world go from hoarding toilet paper to animals actually enjoying the open without people trying to invade their space every second. Look at how happy this crow IS to have the see-saw all to itself!:
While the essentials got a pass to leave their homes for work, the rest of us were threatened to stay inside for our own good unless we really need to go to places such as the pharmacy or grocery. And boy, when some people got to the grocery, they bought things they did not need for selfish reasons!
We were also warned to wash our hands and sanitize, and I wondered if people never knew about practicing proper hygiene before this pandemic. The public was also advised to social distance and wear a mask while out in public.
MJ made wearing masks couture before it was couture itself. 😆
The measures that were put in place by governments around the world made people angry that they were being imprisoned in their own homes for their good. This was not D’ 2020 they envisioned in their mind when the year began.
The tuning into the media caused panic within so many people that they seem to fear the virus more than God. This kind of fear only leads to anxiety and other wicked thoughts. Trust always in the Lord. Do not unravel or compromise with the world.
Instead of running scared, we should be re-evaluating our priorities. What are we doing all day long? How are we using the time that God has loaned us? Are we praying? Are we reaching out to those in need?
In all of this melee, I threw my trust in God and just went with the flow. Over the past weeks, I’ve been enjoying my family, valuing my walk with God, engaging more with nature and trying new things in the kitchen. Yes, I said the kitchen. 😒
Life as we know it is not over and this is not the new normal (at least not yet) for we’ll get to enjoy the sun again even if it’s for a little while.I hope you’re all doing well and leaning on God throughout everything no matter what.

Take a good HARD look at the wicked world in which we live.
Lawlessness:A young woman decided to have some fun by licking a tub of ice cream and placing the Blue Bell container back on the shelf. She was identified by police and would’ve faced up to 20 years in jail and a $10,000 fine for tampering with food had she not been seventeen. She is not the only one. A 36-year-old man in Louisiana was also charged for licking a tub of Blue Bell ice cream and putting it back on the shelf. When the police came to arrest him, he said that he only wanted to be “famous”.
I have no idea why ice cream, but this so-call #IceCreamChallenge is getting out of hand.
As if one health hazard is not enough, this decent human being decided to go to Walmart, gargle Listerine, spit it back into the bottle and return it to the shelf!
I am not okay with this disgusting challenge. You cannot just walk into a store and pick up a product, tamper with it and place it back on the shelf for unsuspecting consumers to purchase. Even if this challenge is staged, it is disgusting behavior. This selfish entitled generation is so starved for attention that they’ll do anything to be the center of it. This is what happens when we live in a godless do what thou wilt society.
And if that’s not enough, last year, a YouTuber from Barcelona pranked a homeless man by giving him toothpaste-fill Oreos. This same YouTuber (Kanghua Ren aka ReSet) is also accused of filling sandwiches with cat feces and offering them to children and the elderly. He has since been sentenced to 15 months in prison and fined $22,300.
We’re living in the days of Noah and Revelation. All that God said will come to pass has/is coming to pass before our very eyes every day. Please keep this corrupted world in your prayers for there are many souls yet to come to repentance.

Last evening, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake rocked Trinidad sending people scampering out of buildings and houses and calling upon the name of the Lord. Venezuela and Grenada were also affected. It was the hardest earthquake we’ve ever experienced lasting over a minute.
The house SHOOK so hard, I thought that it was going to rend in half. The windows rattled as if they’ll fall from their hinges and the floors felt as if it was raising up. We thought it wasn’t going to stop, but I was not afraid for I know God was with us. Traffic lights went down, the electricity went out in many areas including ours and some buildings suffered cracks. The aftershock came in early this morning, but it was not bad.
It could’ve been worse.
Look at these stats:
^ 21 August 2018: 0 people killed after a 6.9 earthquake hit Trinidad & Tobago. Also, a 7.3 hit Venezuela and there were no reports of death or injuries. Guyana felt the earth tremor.
^ 5 August 2018: 460 people killed after a 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit the Indonesian island of Lombok.
^ 20 April 2013: 160 people killed and 5,700 in China’s rural south-western Sichuan province after a 6.6 earthquake.
^ 22 February 2011: more than 160 people killed in the New Zealand city of Christchurch after a 6.3 earthquake.
^ 14 April 2010: 400 people died after a 6.9 earthquake strikes western China’s Qinghai province.
^ 12 January 2010: 230,000 people died in and around the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince after a 7.0 earthquake.
^ 7 December 1988: 25,000 people die in north-west Armenia after a 6.9 earthquake.
^ 18 April 1906: 3000 people die after a 7.9 earthquake strikes San Francisco from the collapsing buildings or the subsequent fire which lasted for several days. It was one of the worst and deadliest earthquakes in the history of the USA.
We should be thankful and take it as a warning, but people here are going “God is really a Trini.” He isn’t. The next time an earthquake of that magnitude hit T&T, I don’t think we’re going to be so “lucky”. God is not a nation’s mascot. He is not a Trini. He is Alpha and Omega. And this was a warning call which many of us won’t heed because “God is a Trini”.
A 9-year-old boy from Cheswick said he was inspired to help the hungry by watching a music video with his mom.
“I was watching a Michael Jackson video, ‘Man In The Mirror,’ and I just saw these kids that didn’t have enough to eat (and) not enough water,” said Sam Kieffer. “And it just didn’t seem right to me. Everyone should have enough food and water to live.”
Kieffer has established Sam’s Blessings Box on Jacoby Road. The outdoor food pantry provides everyday essentials to people who need them. Among them are fruit, vegetables and toiletries such as shampoo.
“I can’t survive a day without eating dinner,” said Kieffer, “so I can’t imagine how people feel when they don’t have anything for dinner for a week or many days. It’s just not right.”
Kieffer said he hopes his effort will inspire others to create similar roadside food pantries in their neighborhoods.
“I feel like the future of this small thing can make a big impact in every community.”
Helping the hungry isn’t the only mission for 9-year-old Sam. He has also become involved in raising money for research of the epidermoid brain tumor. He said his father has such a tumor.
Through the Save The Brains campaign, Sam, his siblings, and others have raised more than $7,000, making them the single-largest donor to the Epidermoid Brain Tumor Society.
Among the fundraisers they hold are lemonade stands and bake sales.
Kieffer has also written a collection of poetry called Freedom Zone, a portion of the sales of which are donated to the Epidermoid Brain Tumor Society. He has listed the book for sale on Amazon.
“Sam is a child who just has a genuine desire to help people and he tries to do that in various ways,” said Kieffer’s mother, Terri.

Living in this world is giving me a headache and robbing me of my peace of mind. When it comes to children, perverts are getting sicker by the second. Child sex robots are being manufactured to treat pedophiles/rapists who want to be cured. How is this possible and what is it really curing? This will encourage the urges and eventually, the sicko will want the real thing. This is beyond disgusting and creepy, but the real question is: what not to expect in this sick world that we’re living in?
How can people be okay with this?
That’s why when celebrities try to bring light to issues that are hidden in the dark, I don’t believe every word coming out of their mouth for they don’t practice what they preach and in the end, most of them end up exposing their children for the world to see on social media.
When Blake Lively gave a speech on child pornography, many people called it emotional. I did not feel anything coming from this woman. She blah blahed about this and that and yet, she worked with child molester Woody Allen. She wore a plunging neckline to talk at this important conference and her body language told a different story.
And Salma Hayek gave a very weird speech about Blake Lively before introducing her on the stage. Did Hayek visit a bar before coming to this event?
If a non-celebrity was trying to bring awareness to this terrible issue, they wouldn’t have been given a platform as big as this, for mind-controlled-celebrity-obsessed-fans wouldn’t give their time to listen. While it’s nice that Miss Lively is given a platform to be a voice for those poor children, spare me for this was scripted just as everything else in Hollywood where the cameras never stop rolling. Hollywood is CRAWLING with pedos! Maybe Lively should speak out against them. Wait…
Never forget that Miss Lively called child molester Woody Allen “empowering to women”. She doesn’t get a do-over because of that speech. She defended this man.
Then we have a distasteful promo for SNL in which host John Mulaney walks into a bar and orders a Shirley Temple drink only to be bought a literal Shirley Temple (a child). Temple was perhaps the most oversexualized child in the history of Hellywood. I’ve never seen a movie of hers (thank God!), but I do know enough to talk about her which I’ll be doing at another time for I may need more than water to get through the writing.
People can call it a joke, but you don’t joke about children and you certainly don’t over-sexualize them. This is why many former child stars can’t seem to adjust when they’re no longer wanted by the film industry.
Then there’s this:
With pedophilia a rampant thing in Hollywood, you’ll think that celebrities wouldn’t be making fun of it. There is no such thing as a sexy baby! What is wrong with these old fools? Tom Hanks should be ashamed of himself! I know it’s from 2011, but the clip is still disturbing to see how they sexualized that little girl. Plus she’s singing a song from the rock band Poison and is all like, “Talk dirty to me,” (what does she know about talking dirty?) in the pageant segment and adults laugh at this? It’s not funny. And Tom Hanks is all like, “Sexy baby. Sexy baby. Such a sexy baby.” and clapping like an idiot.
Jimmy Fallon has a segment on his show call Kid Theater in which he read scenes written by elementary school kids with his guests and I think it’s pretty neat. I know Hanks was on one of the episodes, but I only watched the one with TC and I enjoyed it. They need to show children in this light instead of sexing them up in their dialogues and shows. Some of the writing is really good. Keep in mind, some of these children are as young as seven years old.

We live in a self-centered world. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 warned us about these perilous times and this cartoon by Steve Cutts accurately (sadly) portrays everything that’s wrong with this generation.
Last month, I read that Facebook introduced a new game in which they encouraged young children to go missing for up to 48 hours. Basically, they were to hide from their parents/guardians for 48 hours, and I find myself wondering what kind of sick twisted game was this?
Children are given a higher score if their names are mentioned on social media by their loved ones desperately seeking them.
This sick and twisted game bear a striking resemblance to the ‘Game of 72‘ in 2015 which encouraged children to disappear for 24, 48, or 72 hours.
Every day, children go missing and this 48 Hour Challenge game targeting children saw children as young as 14 go missing for days at a time. This game was devised by the mind of evil with no regards for the people who go missing every day. One terrified mother who has been searching for her children found them in a different town only to then discover that they were in on the game with their social peers.
Within the first 48 hours of a crime, crucial evidence mostly disappears and after 48 hours, it becomes harder to find a missing person because the trail goes cold. Is this what these idiots want? For children to go missing to make them easier to kidnap?
Parents, stay vigilant. This world is becoming messier by the second.
On 9 July 1816, Argentina, Uruguay and part of Bolivia declared independence from Spain.
Catalonia’s parliament has declared independence from Spain in a vote earlier today. And how did Spain react? They sacked Catalonia’s government and assumed direct control over the region. This means that central government ministries will assume direct powers of the Catalan administration until a regional election takes place on December 21.
It is not going to be smooth sailing for Catalonia where it concerns EU given that countries such as Germany and France are among European countries that back Spanish unity. The US State Department also issued a similar statement on the matter. So far, Finland is the only country preparing to go against Spain and recognize Catalonia’s independence.
What does this mean for FC Barcelona?
Football fans are more concerned with what would happen to their beloved FC Barcelona when Catalonia is finally independent. Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu said that the Catalan giants are determined to remain in La Liga. However, at the moment, nobody knows. All we know is that their future in the Spanish league into jeopardy.
I’ve supported this football club for years and whatever happens, I’ll continue to support them.
For National Read A Book Day, I want to share this story of a man and his horse who touched my heart recently.
Ridwan Sururi and his horse Luna hails from the village of Serang, in the Purbalingga region of Java island. Sururi is a father of five and a horse caretaker who desires to see the young ones reading. Since December 2014, he has been running a Kudapustaka (horse library) which sees him take the library around the village and nearby areas weekly (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
