Committed to seeking God

Never stop seeking His Face.

Some thoughts for not only today but for the rest of the week as you reflect on your walk with God.

Beholding Him Ministries

Psalm 14.2The Lord looks down from heavenon all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. Psalm 14:2

For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9a

You will seek me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

Blessings today! The Scriptures above are from my time with the Lord. The questions below are from my notes.

  • Will my life reflect the thermometer of society and natural forces or will I become a thermostat in society who influences the world for the glory of God? In other words, will my life reflect the world’s heart or warm the world with God’s love, grace, mercy as a display of His glory? Will my life draw the glory of God down to earth so others will see…

Thankful Thursday: Blogger’s edition #5

I like numbering posts such as these and I don’t know why. 😆

Pop in for a visit at deontetowner

Today, I am grateful for Deonte’s blog.

I just caught up on his blog and he has realized his dream of publishing his first book all because God has guided his hands every step of the way. Make no mistake, there were times that he wanted to give up, but with God by his side, there was no stopping him. Learn more about him and his book in About.

But what I love about Deonte is how real he is especially when he talks about his faith and one can just feel his love for God in his posts. I was moved by how God worked in his family’s life when his father had a stroke and it’s a story that everyone should read. I thank God that his father is recovering well, thus proving the doctors wrong.

He is positive and uplifting and you won’t regret visiting his blog. His posts are relatable and they make you smile or reflect according to the mood.

It’s been a while since I’ve done this segment, but you know how this goes. Today, I am grateful for… And it’s someone I know! Like, really know! 😄

Miss James is also a fantastic writer and I’ve been honored to read some of her work. She is also a true leader and she loves motivating people; her blog is evidence of that.

Thankful Thursday: Blogger’s edition #3

I waited with bated breath as my sister shakes the bag, then puts her hand inside it and swish the pieces of paper around a little. Finally, she withdraws her hand and opens the piece of paper to reveal the blog that I’m grateful for today:

Thankful Thursday: Blogger’s edition #1

It’s Thursday! And this is the Thursday that I’m going to start showing my appreciation for the blogs that I follow like I said I wanted to do last month. To recap: I wrote down all of the names of the blogs that I follow on pieces of paper, put them into a bag, shake it up and had my sister choose.

So today, I’m grateful for…

Pop in for a visit at wordsandnotion.com

I just caught up with Akhila over on Words and Notion. I’m guilty of not keeping up with her blog for the Reader is kind of messed up and all the blogs I follow doesn’t always show up.

Akhila is a Quality Assurance professional and she makes words dance off the page with her thought-provoking poems. I find her Psychic Science posts intriguing and her Female Behavior series convincing.

Post Alert!| I am not always right

She sometimes features posts in her native Malayalam, a language I which I can understand! She has a book out now and it’s available on Amazon.

I have some more catching up to do, but I am thankful for this blog.

This too shall pass…

Please keep my sister Margaret in your thoughts and prayers.

The Word

Hey everyone :):) I pray this finds every one happy, filled with God’s love, and blessings. I am dealing with a health issue at the moment. Reading, or even concentrating on anything , really magnifies this. I won’t be able to post anything, or read blogs until this passes.

I moderated a few comments, typed this up, and I’m exhausted but this too shall pass. Praise God for His mercy, and purpose for everything. God Bless you all :):)

Thankful for you (coming soon)

I follow some pretty amazing blogs and I want to show how much I appreciate all of the unique bloggers who light up my face on a weekly basis.

It’ll take me some time to jot down the names of all the blogs I follow, then I’m going to put the names in a bag, shake it up, randomly select a name, and thank the blogger every other week or so.

In the meantime, keep up the wonderful blogging.

God’s bread basket

Here is some food for thought: God’s basket is never empty.

SUCCESS INSPIRERS' WORLD

Don’t say you’re hungry;
When God’s bread basket
Is full,
And overflowing;
Go dip your hand into it;
And scoop out enough
For yourself;
Only the faithless go hungry;
Knowing not what is reserved
For them
In God’s rich warehouse;
It’s full;
For those who put their trust
In him,
It over flows.
Put your trust in Him;
He will provide;
He never fails.
He always provides;
His bread basket
Is always full.

Be The Diamond Within

It’s Poetry Wednesday and I’ll love to share this beautiful poem that was written by my friend, T.R. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. She’s such a gifted writer!

You sit there all alone

watching the world pass you by.

You sit there sighing.

Hands at your side.

 pexels-photo-206274.jpg

Outside the wind is dancing.

Outside the world goes round.

But inside you are hurting.

Inside you wear a frown.

pexels-photo-568027.jpg

It’s okay to struggle.

It’s okay to cry.

It’s okay to have these feelings.

But it’s not okay to die.

red-love-heart-alone-6068.jpg

There is love around you.

Yes, even while you hurt.

There is care to support you.

To show you what you’re worth.

pexels-photo-168008.jpg

You may feel like charcoal.

Burning into dust.

No one sees your value.

Your tears have become rust.

pexels-photo-332974.jpg

Truth is under pressure

that’s where value’s found.

Yes, your layers carry millions.

Listen, all around.

pexels-photo-356848.jpg

Diamonds don’t come easy.

Their hardship isn’t known.

But you and I, we know this,

and have since found our home.
