Why You Might Want To Consider Detoxing (2 minute read)

Thinking about detoxing? Here’s some really useful information…

Temple Fitness

With so much information about the danger of toxins, you may be wondering if you need to detox your body. Over the years I’ve read a lot of information about diets, procedures, and other common approaches to detoxification.Traditionally, detoxification was done in the spring and fall when temperatures were moderate and fresh greens were unlimited. However, the popularity of New Year’s resolutions in January pushes people to want to cleanse in the winter.
Our body is designed to detox naturally. A complete body detox is a long and committed process but can be especially rewarding. If you’ve never performed a detox, I recommend it. Detoxing is for everyone. Everyone, that is, who wants to have an abundance of physical energy, to be mentally calm and in control and to have the freedom of choice that comes from feeling really well. Some people inherit better detox systems than others, and younger people…

But God

Be still and know that I am God.

Hope For Today

fullsizeoutput_4fc

It didn’t take me long to embrace this season of restoration. In fact, I jumped and was caught in a bed of springtime flowers. “Here I am Lord, restore me!” Reality check. Restoration is a process.

The saying “Let go and let God” comes to mind. Hmm, letting go. Sometimes I think we hold on so tightly to the way we think things ought to be we actually lose sight of Who God is and what HE is doing! The current conversation I am having with God; “But God, I’m such a good helper!” “My child, I don’t require your help.” “But God” “My daughter there are not ‘buts’, just be.”

Be still and know that I am God.

Be still and know that I am.

Be still and know.

Be still.

Be.

Shalom!

Useful Skills Writers Should Learn

This is an informative post. I can do some basic drawing, nothing major and my friend is a Graphic Designer, so I’ll be learning some tricks of the trade soon although I can hold my own when it comes to making book covers.

Did you like the meme? LOL, I don’t know how I came up with that – don’t ask.

Before we begin, I want to post what I’m working on. I know some of you have emailed me, and I promise to respond soon.

Here’s my to-do list:
– Finish beta reading for another blogger
– Finish reading (another blogger’s) story for a book review
– Respond to inquiries (WordPress inquires)

That way, those who contacted me know I’m making my way down the list. Oh, and I’m also working on my own writing projects. Speaking of which, I updated Clash of Tides. If you are willing to leave me feedback on chapter 20, I’ll unlock the chapter for you. Thanks!

So, today, I’m going to discuss useful skills that writers should learn. Of course, being a good writer is number one, but to sell our stories, we need more than…

Do More Than Just Exist!! (part one)

An amazing post by an awesome writer! Smile. It’s Monday & it’s time to start existing! 🙂

thatdiary

Life is beautiful! Life is wonderful. If that’s so, why are so many people constantly sad/stressed/unhappy?Why then do we hate Mondays so much? Were we created to ‘live for the weekend ‘ or to remember all the good memories of life as ‘childhood’ ? Are you living, or existing?

Here are a few of my thoughts on living life and not just existing.

1. Take Care Of Your Body.

I don’t mean to be boring by starting my post with this point, but I insist. Your body is a masterpiece; it needs grooming, and taking care of. Everything that technology is creating today is based on the essence of use less energy /effort. In doing so, we are basically creating a lifestyle of ‘lazy living’, and thus, we are not taking care of our bodies.

If you play a sport, it’s automatic that you have to exercise. However, not everyone…

The time for repentance and salvation is now.

Beholding Him Ministries

Isaiah 59.2

“but your iniquities have made a separation
    between you and your God,
and your sins have hidden his face from you
    so that he does not hear.” Isaiah 59:2

As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;
11     there is no one who understands;
    there is no one who seeks God.
12 All have turned away,
    they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
    not even one.”
13 “Their throats are open graves;
    their tongues practice deceit.”
“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”
14     “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16     ruin and misery mark their ways,
17 and the way of peace they do not know.”
18     “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

FC Barcelona and the greatest comeback in football history

Gave me chills last evening, this game. The GREATEST COMEBACK in football history! Thank you, FC Barcelona for showing the world what it is like not to give up. And Neymar for his enormous faith in God as always. 🙂

My Heart Beats Football

“All the glory and honor to you God. Nothing’s impossible for the one who believes in You.” Neymar

Last evening, FC Barcelona sent the footballing world into a frenzy after pulling off the impossible: overturning a 4-0 deficit in the history of football. No other teams had ever done so previously!

Touted as the greatest comeback in football history, FCB showed the world why they’re FCB. Their 6-1 was a far cry from the 4-0 defeat away to PSG a few weeks ago. With two goals from Neymar, one from Leo, one from Roberto, the opener from Luis and the own goal from Kurzawa, FCB happily booked their ticket to the quarters. Edinson Cavani was the only goal scorer for the Parisien side.
