BONJOUR!

La Petit Muse was created to help inspire the writer within us. I do write myself, but I am not a professional writer. I write for the sake of writing.

This site aims to show that we all can be writers regardless of not having that super awesome power call ‘the gift of words’ which some talented writers seem to possess. Let’s work on our craft every day even if it’s just a sentence or two.

We have to start by believing in ourselves and talent because if we don’t, we won’t have the confidence to succeed. Let’s help one another to reach those goals.

  1. Hi Diana! Yesterday while I was out shopping, I found a card that reminded me of you and I knew you would love it, so I bought it. 🙂 Would you be comfortable with emailing me your address so I can send it to you? The email’s on my contact page. Just let me know! xx

    1. That’s so very sweet & thoughtful of you, Maggie! I apologize for seeing this post late. I am still reading/commenting/answering on all the blogs I’ve missed. I can probably email you a little later on after on. Thank you! ❤

    1. I love French, but I only know the basics given that I’ve stopped studying the beautiful language for a while. Its my priority this year to learn beyond the basics.

      1. I was just watching a YouTube video yesterday, by a speaker named Stephanie Reader. I think she’s from Quebec. It brought me such joy to hear her sharing the word in French! I wonder why God has me still understanding it so well when I hardly ever get to practice; like, what does He want me to do with it? You know? It’s as if my heart is drawn to French speakers.

      2. I love hearing anything in French. I’ve always been interested in the language and started understanding some of it before I started to learn it. You’ll get your answer in due time. 🙂

    1. Hello! I explained how the name La Petit Muse came about, but maybe I should’ve included the link on this page. 🤔When I first signed up for WP, I was told that La Petite Muse was taken, so I just went with petit. I should check and see if the name is now available, but I prefer petit now. Nice to meet you, Ken. 🙂

    2. Haha! Petit can also mean simple or insignificant where it concerns the law so I like to translate it as The Insignificant Muse. I really wanted to change it back then, but it’s already been 3 years.
