I think it depends on the education. Some education is very important, but other education is rather pointless. Of course, learning how to read, write, or performance basic math problems is important. But to me education has always been about broadening your mind. About understanding what you believe and why you believe it. For example, I went into college being Christian, but not really understanding nor studying my faith. But because my faith was so often challenged in school, I started doing research. I educated myself about the Bible and history. And it made me stronger both in my faith and my knowledge. So I personally think education is extremely important, but it is not necessarily the education you learn in schools.

Well I’m a teacher, so I think education is one of the most valuable assets we can provide for future generations. Of course, there are different ways in which our students can be educated but it’s very important that they have access to at least a minimum of resources to enable learning.
