Pleasant good day. Instead of the regular Bible Study of Genesis, I want to take the time to find out:
1. Which book of the Bible are you currently reading?
2. Your favorite book altogether?
3.Β How has the Bible been impacting your life?
Every beat of my heart belongs to I AM! π
1. Which book of the Bible are you currently reading?
2. Your favorite book altogether?
3.Β How has the Bible been impacting your life?
I’m reading 1 Kings, Isaiah, and Mark. I can’t pick a favourite. Every time I think, this book is my favorite, I start the next book, and think the same thing :):) I don’t know if I have the right words to describe it but the Lord teaches me something new with every verse. Even verses, though I’ve read them before, each time it’s as if with new eyes. Love the questions, wonderful idea :):) Happy Sabbath, I thank God for blessing you π

He surely does, my dearest! And I love learning whatever the good Lord throws at me with new eyes. Thank you, and I trust that your Sabbath was well rested. π God bless and keep you & thank you for participating.

Yes, I was quite lazy. I jjust soaked up God’s Word. Rolled around in it, snuggled up with it, and felt safe, and loved :):):)

I’m still on Exodus and I still can’t find time to continue it as I’m taking notes every chapter. I don’t think I have a favourite book but if there will be, it will be Matthew– just because. β€ God bless, Diana!

Currently reading 1 Chronicles and the Gospel of John
Hard to pick 1 favorite so I’ll say Isaiah (OT) and Romans (NT)
The bible continues to impact me daily as long as I stay in the Word, allowing the Spirit to teach/remind me of things. My bottom line answer would be this: The more I learn about God through the Bible the more I realize how much more of Him I need!
Blessings,
Chuck

I’m the type of person who jumps around in the Bible…so I’m not reading a particular book right now. Though, for some reason, I’ve always had a fondness for John. As for the last question, a better question would be how the Bible isn’t affecting my life. I see it affecting everything I do and think about.

I love John! Keep reading His Word and continue to reap His blessings. God bless and thank you for participating.

Thank you for posting these questions. Iβm reading through the Bible right now. Currently Iβm reading through 1 Chronicles.
I have graduate degrees in theology, but my favorite way to read the Bible is devotionally. I like to read about Godβs interaction with the people in the past and to think about how that applies to the present.

Lovely! 1 Chronicles is a book I love. Yes, reading devotionally can be quite beneficial. God bless and thank you for participating.

1. Been reading Mark a lot lately, which is usually my least go-to gospel. But good stuff obviously.
2. So hard to choose one. But if I had to, maybe Colossians or 1 Peter.
3. Trying to imprint Scripture on my mind and heart. Asking God to bring certain verses to my recollection just when I need them.

1. Yes, lots of good stuff!
2. Those are very good books. I just recently reread 1 Peter. π
3. Same! I’ve been memorizing certain verses so I can focus on them when I need to.
God bless and thank you for participating.

In a lot of ways, I'm understanding how God operates in our life's and in nature as well, learning more about him and how I should continue to put my TRUST in him and not man like myself and so much more things he's revealing through his word I never knew before!

I guess I’d have to say the Gospel of John is my favorite book because it is filled with the reality of the love of God for me and what it cost Him. My second is quickly becoming Revelation for is sums up the beginning and brings all things back to where they are supposed to be.

Beautiful book and I am also becoming attached to Revelation as well. God bless and thank you for participating.

Iβm currently reading the book of Mark. My favorite books are the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). Bible reading enriches my life completely. It helps me to have the mindset of God everyday which helps in making decisions, helps me manage stress, and brings me peace and joy. I recently found this article that helped me to see how to get even more from my daily bible reading

I love Psalm 23! My all-time favorite Psalm is 91, though.
I can testify to that as well. I’ve read the Bible from cover to cover multiple times and I love discovering treasures I didn’t stumble upon before.

Love following your studies on the bible! Right now I’m reading the book of Job, which I always find encouraging, but Proverbs is probably my favorite book in the bible so far (I’m slowing reading every book in the bible, so that could change)! I love Proverbs because it brings me back to the reality that without God, nothing in this world, nothing we do matters. So I find that encouraging because it reminds me of our purpose and what God always wanted us as humans to get out of our lives π

I’m reading 2 Chronicles, Psalms and Matthew. Proverbs is one of my favorite books, full of practical wisdom. On the Sabbath, there’s a helpful verse in Hebrews 4, can’t remember the exact reference… π
