I am not complaining, but…
1. People who take the Lord’s Name in vain.
2. People who drag another’s name/reputation through gossip.
3. Smokers smoking around non-smokers.
4. People who choose to listen to music through their speakers instead of their headphones. And when some are listening through their headphones, they still play it loud enough for me to hear and it annoys me.
5. When a large group of people takesΒ up the entire pavement. MOVE!
What are some of your pet peeves?

I’m always amazed how loud people listen to their music. Whether it’s in their car or through headphones, if I can hear it, that means it’s damaging their hearing. That’s why I could never attend a rock concert. Too loud! And yep, I identify with all of these. Especially the Lord’s name, which is thrown around in most every conversation now-a-days as if it were like saying ‘umm.’

Where I work, I always have to tell the students to lower their music even when they’re listening to it through their headphones! It’s annoying. The Lord’s Name is taken for granted a lot lately. π

So we can agree on 1 through 4.
5. Hypocrites and judgmental people..

I don’t like judgmental people at all. They’re quick to judge and some of them spread malicious lies which ends up hurting the person/people involve.

Exactly. Like a great philosopher once said, “Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.”

I relate to the sidewalk. Especially when I was on campus trying to get to class on time.

I hate when they have Jesus Christ in movies and it is used like a swear word.
Someone had to write that in and I just think it is poor writing ( then of course offensive)
And
The one I am praying about is I really get annoyed with bad leadership –
Like I can handle flaws and people with hangouts and making mistakes –
This is life!
But it aches my heart to see organizations mismanaged – and maybe it was because I worked under a few amazing bosses and know the beauty of what it could be like for workers and the company and society!
And so like recently there is someone that came up who might be in the wrong leader position and he does not know this –

Fun post!

I dislike that a lot, too! Like leave the Lord’s name out of it! I’m with you on the bad leadership. I’ve been around some bad leadership in the past and it irked me to no end!

Particularly if you’re in a public place, the listening to music without headphones while someone else is using headphones can be annoying.

I second that! They want everyone around them to hear their music and it can get quite annoying.

Never take the Lord’s name in vain at all! So sad to see people now have no sort of respect for the Lord’s Name at all! Hmm smhπ thanks for sharing!

We do share a few. I am guilty of number one. Not because I disrespect God but because I use the usual expressions such as “Oh my God”. I don’t think I am doing anything wrong as long as God knows I don’t mean any disrespect. I’m not that important, whatever comes out of my mouth does not matter. My actions do. This is how I see it but everyone has a different opinion.
About the music. I mean, this people are just so disrespectful. Why are you entitled to choose my music? That’s what you’re doing when forcing me to listen to your crap.
Large groups of people taking the sidewalk make me think violent thoughts lol Same at the mall. It’s like they own the place and I can’t even walk. So disrespectful.
Hugs, Diana!!

Thanks for sharing, Cheila. Of course, God knows that we don’t mean any disrespectful, but He also warned us that we shouldn’t take His Name in vain. I was guilty of taking His Name in vain for a long time.
You hit the nail on the head about music!
Hahaha! I understand. I still can’t stand it when large groups of people block my path.
Hugs right back at you, Cheila. π
