The ULTIMATE Reading Challenge!

A reading challenge? How. Exciting!

At the beginning of the year, I thought about doing a reading challenge, but I didn’t meet one I liked. Some people suggest that I take the Goodreads challenge, but I’m not interested in Goodreads. Another suggested Pop Sugar, but it didn’t appeal to me.

I’ve stopped searching for a challenge to participate in because I didn’t want to set any goals to meet knowing that I may not meet them only to be disappointed in the end. Plus, I didn’t want to read as much as possible without taking time to actually enjoy the story. Challenges can be a joy killer according to the type and maybe I’ll do one in the near future, but just not now.

So in the end, I’ve decided that my ultimate reading challenge this year will be to dedicate some time to reading and just kill my never-ending TBR. The last thing I want to do is turn reading into a chore just to tick it off the list. However, sometime later in the year, I want to try and read some classics – French ones preferably – and perhaps a series. Now, that is going to be a challenge! 😉
