Day 1: What smell are you grateful for today?

Yesterday, I was not well, so I spent the day in bed reading, so I was grateful for the smell of an old book. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  1. I love the smell of books, and old books in particular. They just have such a musty, homey smell. I hope you’re feeling better today! And, yes, I’m pretty thankful for the internet. I get to communicate with people all over the world. It’s amazing!

    1. They certainly do! I was delighted when I came across the old book. Yes, I am feeling much better, thank you. ๐Ÿ™‚ Had it not been for the internet, I wouldn’t have met you wonderful people! โค

  2. I know what you mean about the smell of books. Thereโ€™s nothing like it. I have a hard time reading ebooks. Thereโ€™s nothing like holding a physical book in your hands. And now that we have the internet idk what i would do without it. Itโ€™s so easy to just look something up, or send a message, etc.

    1. I am just like you when it comes to reading eBooks! I’ve always preferred physical books as well. Exactly! The internet has made things so easy for us.

  3. Good answers. My favorite smell is fresh laundry. Once upon a time, I may have said books, but I’m more in love with the feel of them than the smell. One time, I checked out a book from the library that smelled so bad. Odor can really cling to those pages. Every time I opened the book, I felt sick.๐Ÿคข I think that may have ruined the smell of books for me.

    1. I understand. I have a bad library experience as well, but I plan to make a post about it sometime. I love the smell of books once they’re mine and no one else’s.
