* The word “bible” is from the Greek ta biblia, which means “the scrolls” or “the books.” 

* Over 100 million copies of the Bible are sold each year. It is the best-selling book in history.

* The Bible was written over a 1600 year period.

* The longest word/name in the Bible is “Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz” (Isaiah 8:3). This name was given to Isaiah’s son and it means “Speed-spoil-hasten-plunder” or “swift to the spoil, quick to the plunder”.

* China is the largest producer of Bibles.

* The Bible is the most stolen book in the world.

* The longest verse in the Bible is Esther 8:9.

    1. Even thieves need to read His Word! 😉Of course! I also believe that the Bible is also the most debatable book of all time. No other book can stand up to it. As our Lord promised, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”
