      1. When I was a kid I wanted to be a lawyer, and a pastor haha. I have no desire to be either, however, I now write trying to expose and defend what is the truth for Christ, and some of my posts feel like sermons. I think God has connected a lot of things I wanted to do when I was younger in His way, and I’m thankful for that. πŸ™‚

  3. I just clicked on your post and I was like…kitty in a teacup…two of my favorite things. The rest of the post was a blur after that cuteness…but I love Reid too! Him and Penelope are my two favorite characters in Criminal Minds. Congratulations, by the way!

    1. Who doesn’t like cute kittens in teacups? πŸ™‚ Ooh, you like CM as well? Nice! Yes, Reid is the glue of the show! Thank you. πŸ™‚

  4. Congratulations! πŸ˜€

You almost lost me when I saw that kitten in a teacup. So cute! 😍 Lots of awwing. I may have even said “Awwww” out loud. πŸ˜… Anyway…

I like Criminal Minds too, though I’m not as sure about some of the later ones; I haven’t seen many episodes from last season. It seems like, over the past few years, they keep writing people out of the show and then adding new characters. I’m so glad that they kept Spencer and Penelope. They are my favorites. πŸ™‚ I thought for a while there when he was in jail that they were going to write Spencer off the show. I’m glad that they didn’t!

    1. Thank you! πŸ™‚
I don’t blame you. The kitten is such a cutie! Ooh, another Criminal Minds fan? I’m a magnet, I just attract them, don’t I? Over the years, most of them left except in the case of Hotch; Thomas got fired. Had they written Reid off the show, then I would’ve stopped watching altogether. I like the new cast this season, but I hope it’s going to be the final season for I can’t see it beyond the 13th season.

        😸

Yes! And the reason I started watching it was because someone asked me if my nickname, Penelope, had anything to do with Penelope Garcia. (No, it didn’t. πŸ˜„) So naturally, I had to watch an episode to see what she was like. πŸ˜‚ Yeah, I’ve seen most of them from season one until last year. πŸ™‚ Haha, I suppose so! A while back you had a gif of Matthew eating a doughnut and it made my day. 😊 I didn’t know that Thomas was fired! Wow. Went to Wikipedia to find out why. I guess there is no hope for his return; Hotch and his son will forever be in Witness Protection…
Ditto that! Reid is my favorite character next to Penelope. I saw a couple of episodes from this season and I agree; I like this cast. I was certainly glad to see Prentis was back. I liked her. I was glad to see that Matt (from Beyond Borders) became a regular on Criminal Minds. Also liked the addition of Luke last year – Adam played in CSI Miami years ago which I was a fan of.
Yeah, I see what you mean. And Criminal Minds Beyond Borders is already gone… I didn’t expect that one to go so soon.

      2. What a way to get you curious into watching CM! I’ve been watching the show since the very beginning, but it’s not excited as the last 11 seasons. Well, after taking down Mr. Scratch at the beginning of the season, I think Hotch and his son can live a normal life once again.

I love Reid! If it’s one character I wish I could’ve written, its Reid. Yes, this cast is like family. When I saw that Beyond Borders was gone, but Simmons was coming to CM, I was excited! I used to watch CSI Miami was well, but I preferred the original. Adam fit in so well. I like when Luke banters with Garcia. She is hard on him because she dislikes that he is Derek’s replacement and she just can’t get with it. They owe Reid happiness so I hope his character gets closure before the show closes.

      3. Yeah! It definitely worked, haha. πŸ™‚

Wow, that’s so cool that you started watching it at the very beginning! I think I jumped in around season two or three, but later saw most of the first episodes.

That’s true. πŸ™‚ I almost forgot that they took down Mr. Scratch; I didn’t remember hearing about Hotch and his son’s fate after that though.

Oh yes, me too. 😍 I started writing a kids novel many years ago in which I have a character who is very similar to Reid. But a ten-year-old version of him. He’s fun to write for.

        I was too! πŸ™‚

I liked all of the CSI’s. I just didn’t like all the gory stuff, so I closed my eyes during those parts. πŸ˜‚

I agree; he does fit in well.

I do too. And it was hilarious when Garcia assumed that Roxy was Luke’s girlfriend and she turned out to be a dog. XD

I kind of get that though; I liked Derek too, and the chemistry that the two had. But I like Luke too.

Oh yes, they better give Reid closure!

      4. Yes. I remember when it first came on and I thought I’d give it a look. I was not expecting to like it from the get go, but then Dr. Spencer Reid was introduced in all his geeky genius glory and I just knew I was going to be my favorite TV show. At the time, I did not know much about Matthew Gray Gubler, but man, he nailed Reid to a ‘T’!

They mentioned Hotch and his son’s fate in an earlier episode this season. They were talking about him returning to the BAU and I think it was Prentiss who said that Hotch was going to spend the rest of his life bringing up his son.

Now, that’s a story I’ll read! Are you still working on it?

Garcia is a riot and I think she and Luke would make a great pair. Yes, I liked Derek, but for some reason, I don’t miss him. Strange for I loved his friendship with Reid.

        Liked by 1 person

      5. Ditto that! But like you, Reid came along and then Penelope and I knew I was going to love it. πŸ˜€

        Ooohhh, okay. πŸ™‚ Thanks!

Some, yes. I intended it to be a series and I only have the draft of the first one done, so I really need to get back to it sometime. πŸ™‚ (I just looked and I haven’t worked on it since August of 2016. :O I need to change that!)

        I agree! πŸ™‚

I thought I’d miss him more, but Luke was a great replacement.

      6. You’re welcome. πŸ™‚

Sounds good! I really hope you can get back into it one day. It sounds too promising to let it go.

Yes, Luke just fit right in with the family. ❀

It felt so good talking to a fellow CM fan. Thank you for indulging me. ❀ Take care and I trust that everything on your end is well. God bless.

        πŸ˜€

Same here! I don’t know any other CM fans to talk to, haha. This has been fun!

Thank you; I hope everything is going well for you too. God bless you as well! ❀

Well, now you know who to talk CM with whenever you feel the need to. πŸ™‚

You’re welcome and yes, things are going well on this end for the moment, thank you. ❀

      9. πŸ˜€ I started editing the first story again tonight and stumbled upon this part:

Stacy said, β€œNext time, think! Use your gray matter, white matter, or whatever kind of matter is in your head! Maybe there is something the matter with your matter!”
Henry did not understand that Stacy was simply trying to get her point across, so he answered the question she never asked in the first place. β€œAs a matter of fact,” he snickered at his pun, β€œthere is both gray matter and white matter in the brain. It–”
Stacy interrupted Henry; she wasn’t interested in receiving a lecture about the different parts of the brain. β€œIt doesn’t matter!” she was so frustrated she didn’t even realize the pun she made. β€œI don’t care! That wasn’t my point — !”
Henry looked slightly startled and a little hurt that she did not want to hear about something as intriguing as the different parts of the brain, but they were all under stress from this latest development in their first case, so he understood and backed off.

No one wants to listen to the random facts in Henry’s brain. (Unless it pertains to the case.) **sigh** πŸ˜„ Poor thing.

Yes! πŸ™‚ I haven’t seen the last couple of months worth of CM so I’m sure there will be a lot to talk about when I catch up!

I’m glad to hear that! ❀

      10. Hahahaha! Stacy had me CRACKING up from the get go. Henry really is a mini Spencer Reid! I’ll listen to your random facts, Henry! I live for it.

Thank you for sharing. You have been sitting on a treasure, girl and I can’t wait to read more when you get around to editing. I love Henry already. ❀

And I'll be all ears whenever you've caught up and ready to talk. ❀ Have a blessed week. πŸ™‚

      11. πŸ˜€ I’m so glad to hear that. It’s so encouraging!

❀ Haha, yes, I would listen to him all day! I love random facts too.

Awww. Thank you for the kind words! ❀

My main trouble with the current draft is that the plot revolves around the kids having evidence and trying to keep it away from the bad guys who are desperate to take it and destroy it. With today's technology, this may not work (videos and photos can be uploaded to the Internet), so I am seriously contemplating setting the story back to at least the 80's. However, I feel like if I do that, I may lose the interest of kids who would read it. So that's why for the past year and a half, I haven't done much work on it, haha.

        πŸ˜€ ❀ I look forward to it!

You have a blessed week too! ❀
