If you were forced to give up one sense, but gain super-sensitivity in another, which senses would you choose.
Let’s see…
Hearing? I have great hearing and I wouldn’t want to give up this sense because I won’t be able to hear the rain falling on the roof, the birds chirping, the river running…
Smell? I have a wonderful sense of smell.
Touch? I don’t like touching people and I don’t like them touching me, but I love touching books and using my hands to create things, so this sense is definitely staying.
Taste? Then Tiramisu won’t taste the same and the coffee would be bland.
Vision? I don’t need x-ray vision. I can see just fine.
I won’t be giving up any. I am content with the senses that I have. 🙂
I liked the description and reasoning you gave for liking each of the senses, and I’m with you. I wouldn’t want to give one up either.
