Tom Cruise started his career at the age of 19 when he appeared briefly in the Brooke Shields starrer, Endless Love in 1981. I have to confess that I did not watch this movie and there is no way I’ll be watching it because Brooke doesn’t do it for me as an actress and I don’t think I want to watch a 15-year-old fall in love with a 17-year-old. I watched TC’s cameo on YouTube and that was more than enough.
Tom played a character named Billy in short shorts who was into arson at 8 years old. Hahaha! Crazy bastard and that obnoxious laugh! Who would’ve thought that he would go on to rule the Box Office? I read somewhere that his brief appearance was critical to the film’s plot.
Thus, a legend was born! 🙂
