Boy! It seems like I have a lot of catching up to do lately! I took a small break from this challenge in order to complete a pending project.
DAY 15: Shoutout IG Writers
All the amazing writers that I follow inspire me to get work done at some point in time. Special shoutout to my writing partner in crime, Tammy. ❤
DAY 16: Author Bio
DAY 17: Writing Uniform
Whatever I feel comfortable in.
DAY 18: Favorite Authors
I don’t have many favorite authors. Alexandre Dumas gave me my favorite adventure of all time in The Three Musketeers and that is what kickstarted my love affair with France. As for James Patterson, he’s given me Alex Cross and countless of murder mysteries that I’ve hungrily devoured on cold evenings.
DAY 19: Day or Night Writer?
Day, night, in between, it doesn’t matter once I get to write.
The American Made trailer is still sort of fresh after being dropped two weeks ago, but we’re already talking about Crazy Cruise stunts.
According to the director Doug Liman,
“I’m flying alongside him in a helicopter filming, and that made a big impression on me — there’s nobody in the cockpit of the plane! Tom has gone to the back of the aircraft, and he’s alone in that airplane. It’s one thing to have Tom Cruise alone in the airplane flying it — that’s already outrageous — now he’s alone and he’s not even in the cockpit so he’s gone beyond. It was already a stunt before he left the cockpit, it was already a serious stunt.”
Well, doesn’t that sound fun!
I love and admire Cruise’s dedication to his craft, but someone needs to tell him that he isn’t immortal and there’s no need for him to overdo the heroics. We don’t mind a little CGI now and then.
Here’s a new still from the film courtesy Empire:
June 17th: Shape up or shape out
Write a letter to the personality trait you like least, convincing it to shape up or ship out. Be as threatening, theatrical, or thoroughly charming as is necessary to get the job done.
I cannot complain because I like everything about me including the flaws.
June 18th: Might as well jump
What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to? What would have to happen to make you comfortable taking it?
At the moment, I don’t have any, as I am putting plans in motion for something bigger in my life. 🙂
June 19th: Tagline
Often, our blogs have taglines. But what if humans did, too? What would your tagline be?
God’s humble servant.
