Blue is the new black and ‘The Mummy’ cast is squad goals

I’ve seen some hits and misses over the past few weeks where it concerns women and fashion and don’t get me started with Cannes! Most of the fashion choices were dreadful! With Gal Gadot, Annabella Wallis and the stunning Sofia Boutella promoting their upcoming summer blockbusters, I’ve been seeing them around a lot lately.

Gal Gadot

Premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures' 'Wonder Woman' - Red Carpet

Gadot wore this Givenchy red number at the Los Angeles premiere of Wonder Woman. I thought she looked stunning, but then when I examined the dress further and discovered the cuts (under the waist), it was a nay for me. I think the cuts ruined the dress.

A cut here, a cut there…

Annabelle Wallis

She is currently on The Mummy tour with co-stars Sofia Boutella and Tom Cruise. She failed to impress me until that lovely red number which she wore at the Taiwan premiere.

She was STUNNING at the Madrid premiere.

I also liked her Parisian look, but I disliked the triangular cut at the front.

'The Mummy' Paris Premiere at Le Grand Rex

Paris had the most stunning red carpet presentation on this tour!

Sofia Boutella

I like her. A lot. I gave her a nay at the Syndey premiere because she looked as if she was dressed for bed:

She got it right with the green dress during the photo call…

TC and Sofia Boutella:

… and she deserves to be kissed for that!

TC and Boutella:

These two have instant chemistry. I’d ship that. Kidding. Kidding. No, really. I’ll ship that.

She also got it right in Taiwan and at the Madrid premiere:

Seriously, I’ll ship ‘them’!

And that black number she recently wore to the Paris premiere was a definite yes.

Blue is the new black

Blue has to be the color of the summer thus far. Yes, I’m biased because I love this color and Tom Cruise wears it so well! He’s been wearing a lot of blue lately and I dig it!

Tom Cruise:

I didn’t realize that TC had long lashes! No, it’s not Maybelline. He was definitely born with it.

TC. Taiwan.:

Spain. I love seeing him with the fans. The fact that he shows up an hour or so before his premieres to mingle with them is very professional. Who does that? Kudos to you, Thomas. ❤

Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is a man of style!

‘The Mummy’ squad

‘The Mummy’ squad wore it well on tour, but Tom and Sofia always looked as if they were going to prom.

World’s best-selling author teams up with a former President to write a thriller.

I am talking about James Patterson and former US President, Bill Clinton. Yes, they’ve teamed up to write a thriller that sounds like a winner, The President Is Missing.

The details of the plot are not currently known, but the publishers say the book will be “informed by details that only a President can know.”

This is Clinton’s first novel and it will be released by Alfred A Knopf and Hachette in June 2018.

Playing catch up!

Whoa is right! I am looking around here and wondering when did I get so swamped in many things that I have no time to log on, post, or comment on blogs?

On top of that, my laptop has decided to join the party to complicate things. I’m taking it to my IT guy tomorrow God’s willing. In the meantime, while I’m here, I think I’ll have a quick look around.

If I don’t get to your blog today, have no fear I’ll try to get to it before the week is out.

 :

May 30: Fight or flight

When faced with confrontation, do you head for the hills or walk straight in? Was there ever a time you wished you’d had the opposite reaction?

I dislike confrontation of any kind so I don’t go walking into them.

May 31: Teleport

If you could travel to any location in the universe — where would you travel and why?

I think you guys already know the answer to this one!

May 27th-29th: daily prompts catch up

I have to play catch up with the daily writing prompts today! I also have to catch up with the blogs I read, but that is looking unlikely at the moment. When life gets in the way, there isn’t any excuses one can make.

 :

May 27th: Say your name

Write about your first name: Are you named after someone or something? Are there any stories or associations attached to it? If you had the choice, would you rename yourself?

My given name is Diana and I don’t think I was named after anyone. If I was, I can’t remember, but Dad really liked the name. I wouldn’t change my name ever! It’s perfect and it reflects who I am.

May 28th: Elevator from the past

You’re stuck in an elevator with a person from your past. Write this scene.

I’m going to take a gamble and say that if I was stuck in an elevator with a person from my past, it’ll be a friend of mine who I used to hang out with in secondary school before he blew up. He was funny and witty and he’ll spend hours literally trying to make me laugh at his goofy antics. We’ll talk about those good old days because I miss them. *le sigh*

May 29th: Weaving the threads

Draft a post with three parts, each unrelated to the other, but create a common thread between them by including the same item — an object, a symbol, a place — in each part.

This one I’ll do when I get home! ^^

 :

If you could switch blogs with any blogger for a week, with whom would you switch and why?

I don’t think that I can ever switch blogs for a day because it won’t be the same. Every blogger is unique and I love what they bring on a weekly basis and I won’t have their touch that brings their blogs to life. However, I don’t mind collaborating with a few of them. 🙂
