Sunday Songs: Throne Room

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

I knew which song I would’ve been featuring this Sunday when joseph elon lillie posted this beautiful song by Kim Walker-Smith. I’ve had the song on repeat since. 🙂

If your heart is overwhelmed, if you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, if you feel as if no one is listening, take it to God in prayer. Let us boldly approach the throne of God with faith where we can obtain mercy (Hebrews 4:16).

I run to the throne room
I run to the throne room

And I fall on my face
With angels and saints
And all I can say is
Holy, holy, holy are You, God
My heart can’t contain
The weight of Your name
And all I can say is
Holy, holy, holy are You

Sunday Songs was co-hosted by Rosema last year and I’ve decided to continue it.

March 18th: Impossible

“Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” – the White Queen, Alice in Wonderland.

What are the six impossible things you believe in? (If you can only manage one or two, that’s also okay.)

I hate Alice in Wonderland! I just had to say it. To name one impossible thing I believe in: I’ll see the world. I’ve always wanted to travel and although I am yet to, I am not giving up hope.
