365 Days of Writing

March 14th: 180 degrees

 :

Tell us about a time you did an 180 — changed your views on something, reversed a decision, or acted in a way you ordinarily don’t.

This is bad, but I can’t recall anything at the moment.

Take a quote from your favorite movie — there’s the title of your post. Now, write!

At the moment I’m watching Knight & Day so I’m going to randomly choose a quote by Roy Miller (Tom Cruise) and continue the story: They’ll tell you I’m mentally unstable and violent and dangerous and it will all sound very convincing.

It’s in the eyes

Nicole’s eyes widen as she regards her gorgeous date across the table. She let out a soft gasp, suddenly afraid of what this deranged man was about to do to her. “Are you going to kill me?”

“Oui,” he simply replies, cold silver-gray eyes wickedly sparkling in the candlelight.

Her eyes were now drawn to the red wine that was sloshing around in his glass due to him teasingly tilting the glass back and forth in his hand. An omen. She had to move, but her feet wouldn’t let her. She spies the waiter taking an order to another table and wonders how to get his attention.

“Don’t,” he warns. “Or you’d be dead before he comes over here.”

*** If you’ve read Loyalty then we can call this piece an extent of the work Jean-Pierre Papin actually does. He is a French hitman and I enjoyed creating a complex character of his kind.
