  1. Mine’s easy. I would text out Bible verses to my friends and family who wanted them. It got to be a lot of texts, so one morning I said “Lord, how can I do this more efficiently?” The thought that came was do a blog, hence the name soul food 101 🙂 God bless!

  2. Haha, you gotta love when your original, unique blog name is somehow taken by someone else! I’ve had that happen so many times over the years. It has forced me to be more creative in my blog naming, though!

  3. Mine is ‘Just Punch The Clock’. It’s a line from an Arcade Fire song, one that we listened to incessantly for about a year as it was the only thing that would get son No 2 to sleep. But it has meaning for me too, since I quit my job of 17 years in December to chase a writing dream and the title is a daily reminder to me to keep working as hard as I can to avoid having to get another office job.
