Daily Dose of Inspiration – Submit Completely

Let it go and give it to Jesus!

Be Inspired..!!

I’ve written pretty extensively about the need to release beliefs, the importance of your emotions and how to line up your energy with what you want. This blog is full of information about different beliefs, how they may manifest in your reality and how to shift your perspective to a better feeling place.

However sometimes, when you’re feeling stuck or desperate, when you need something to happen quickly and you have no idea how that might come about, explanations don’t help much. You want something to happen for a really long time and all you see is “IT” not happening, sometimes even the opposite happening which brings your moral down.

After giving much thought, I believe my problem is I don’t “Let Go”. I know easier said than done, but we need to let go completely, totally. Even when you don’t see things moving, move away, leave the situation, think something different, your mood might…

365 Days of Writing

January 24th: Ready, set, go

 :

Set a timer for ten minutes. Open a new post. Start the timer, and start writing. When the timer goes off, publish.

Ten minutes! Wow! What do I write in ten minutes? Okay, the timer starts… NOW!

 :

I still don’t have an idea what to write in the space of ten minutes.

Should I talk about how my day is going? It’s fine, but I am waiting for four o’clock to get out of the office. Should I talk about my co-workers? They’re pretty awesome and they’re probably the best people I’ve worked with in years. I couldn’t have asked for better gals! Should I talk about my new writing project? They’re coming along fine. But you know what they say, too many things to do, too little time.

*thinks*

What should I talk about? How about Wattpad? I recently rejoined the platform and I am enjoying some of the stories. I encourage writers to have a look. What about books? I used to be a massive book hoarder, but I think I’m cured. I don’t buy many books like before and I don’t have a wishlist for 2017. A first.

Should I…?

Oh, look, the time’s up. Gotta go! It was nice being random for ten minutes.

Definitely fruits!

 :

Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?

Small. I used to like it when I was little, now, I feel as if it’s just suffocating me. I’m working on getting out of it.

If you were to paint a picture of your childhood, what colors would you use?

Hmm, I had a colorful childhood.

art, artistic, bright

A MAN AND WOMAN–MARRIED

I simply love this!

By the Mighty Mumford

 :

(from Pinterest)

She lets him sleep a little longer,

Gathering his strength…

Closed his door

Hearing him snore,

He wakes up at length.

She peeled peaches soaked in syrup,

He slices each to stir up…

Her self pride

In prepared provide,

In putting her foot in the stirrup!

She asked that he buy BISQUICK,

Maybe ’cause she was homesick…

Used at home

He goes along,

Although his cook’s ego is ticked.

Pancakes with peach sauce,

Mutual effort at cost…

Both take  turns

Thus love burns,

No rock on the moss  (…?…).

They each know the other’s behavior,

Trying when they can to savor…

The other as unique

Character which speaks,

Of relationships with God’s favor!  🙂

TASTING REALITY

Yes to coffee no matter the hour! 🙂

By the Mighty Mumford

(In case anyone wonders…MOXIE Cups also hold coffee!)

REALITY IS…without a huge mug

That coffee brought down the long hall…

From a coffee machine down there

Is drunk in no time at all!

MOXIE mugs or paper cups

Have poor capacity…

Unless one holds back the thirst

And sips most daintily!

Used to allow us a pot down here,

Had increased capacity…

Water and grounds close at hand–

Potfuls would satisfy me!  🙂

January 23rd: Shipwrecked

 :

Read the story of Richard Parker and Tom Dudley. Is what Dudley did defensible? What would you have done?

I remember this story. I also remember trying to put myself in Dudley’s shoes and failing because I just couldn’t take the life of someone else no matter how hungry I might have been. I don’t like the thought of eating another man’s flesh. I also remember thinking ‘Poor Parker!’

However, I understand what their situation was. Being shipwrecked and without food for so many days. What would I have done? I hope I never have to make the choice, but I would’ve prayed and ask God to help us all.
