He looked up from the book he was reading when he felt a presence take the seat across from him in the crowded café.  Her face burned at the intense look in the law student’s eyes. It made her feel like they were the only ones in the café. She wished they were.

But then his eyes moved on to the woman he was seeking, the moment was ruined and reality took up residence once again.
