DAY 3
TWO JULYS BACK:
This is going to be short: losing my family. It’s my greatest fear. However, I am utmost grateful and blessed to have them in my life and I cherish every moment we have together as cheesy as it may sound.
NOW:
At the very, very, VERY moment, I’m afraid to watch the semi-final showdown between Germany and France. I believe Les Bleus can do this, but then we’re playing the scary world champions.
I’m out. I can’t do this!
DAY 3
She is hope
when all is lost.
She is light
on a darken night.
She is love
when hate abound.
She cannot be replaced
She is my mother.

Mom is the most special person in my life. She is the reason I can battle through many storms and make it out of them in one piece. She is my strength and my rock. I cannot give this woman enough credit for the influence she had on my upbringing. Not even those words are enough! Thank God for this wonderful woman.

DAY 2
TWO JULYS BACK:
Love. This is a universal thing. It should never be limited. Jesus Christ showed the perfect example of love when he said ‘Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.’ Isn’t it always nice to know that you love someone and they love you back?
Mum. Like love, this is universal. We only have one mother and we should cherish and love her like no other, no matter what.
Sanctimonious. I just love the word! It is also the title of my current personal writing project I’m working on in the spare time. My favorite way to use it thus far has been, ‘You sanctimonious bastard!’ It’s my favorite over-9-letter word.
UnSub. It’s not really a word, but I’ve been using this term a lot whenever I talk/read thrillers. When I’m into a James Patterson book, I’m like ‘I wonder if the character I chose as the UnSub is the right one?’ (I’m mostly right) If you’re a Criminal Minds fan like me, then you’ll know the term means ‘Unknown subject’.
J’adore. French for ‘I adore you’. I am a sucker for a French accent and J’adore leaving the lips of a Frenchman does it for me. I love how the word sounds and I can say it all day: J’adore. J’adore. J’adore! Of course, I don’t have a French accent so it doesn’t come near as sexy when a French native says it.
NOW:
*Laughs* I think those words are unchanged. I still incorporate those words in my every day use, but since I’ve reignited my love for French, I love words such as Bonjour, Salut, S’il vous plaît and Monsieur.
DAY 2
Distraction comes in all forms and packages and we tend to blame the devil (Well, we need someone to blame other than our very own self don’t we?).
I have trouble with self-control. I seem to stray every time I set out to do something meaningful. I end up procrastinating and when the sun sets to signal the end of the day, I tend to get mad at myself. I am like a programmed tape recorder at times.
Although in my defense, they’re educational distractions. Yes, believe it or not. Before, I used to be easily seduced by Amazon and when the day came to a close, I won’t have writing to show, but books and clothes to order. Now, I easily get distracted by the French sites. I’ll visit YouTube to look up two or three French videos, end up looking up 10 or so after the nice suggestions tell me to, then I’ll open up another tab on French vocabulary, then another tab on French habits, then another tab, and another tab, and another tab. Once, I had so many tabs open, my laptop shut down on me.
No, I was back at it again when I rebooted the thing which took half an hour. So, there, I can’t seem to exercise self-control over educational things. It’s a good thing, but it’s not what I set out to do in the first place. I hope to get this under control soon.

DAY 1
TWO JULYS BACK:
The thing most people know about me is also the thing they don’t know about me. I’m widely known for my love of writing – although it’s still developing – and not many people know this, but I detested anything to do with writing while attending primary and junior secondary school respectively.
NOW:
Even if you know me, you don’t know that I prefer the background despite socializing with friends and patrons.
DAY 1
I know what butterflies feel like.
I practically feel them before every game.
They don’t care who you are
or for your name,
they practically assault you
And rob you blind of your senses.

This short piece is EXACTLY how I feel right now. France is about to take on their ‘boogie’ team Germany in a few hours and I am super nervous! I wish the game was played like yesterday! Euro 2016 is going to be the death of me!

It’s 7 days past, but I will not be chickening out of completing the two challenges that I’ve set out to do this month.
