As I write this, I just passed 3000 words on this eleventh day, but it hasn’t been easy. I’ve wanted to quit simply because of how tight my schedule seems to be lately, but I refuse to. I want to see this story through for I know in the end I’ll regret not completing it. It is one of the most interesting stories I’ve written in my writer’s life and I love the way the characters are shaping up. I am in love with every single one of them and breathing life into them has been a love affair!
If I stop now, I may not return to this story and I’ll be a hypocrite after all the motivation posts I’ve been doing. When I compare this year’s NaNo’s progress to last year, I can’t help but notice that I am behind this time around, but like I said earlier, there’s a first time for everything. I just have to keep focusing on my goal and keep going no matter how far I’m lagging behind and you should to.
