BUMPING TO: “I Will Wait” – Nick Carter

If you’re gone before I wake up
Just promise that you’ll be okay, love
Too many times you left me better
We need to share this one together
So, I will wait for you
This love was made for two
And I’ll hold on this time
No, I won’t leave you behind
I will wait for you.

I promise darling that I won’t sing
Until we reached the highest mountain peek
Thanks for the times you were there for me
So let me payback all your charity
So, I will wait for you
This love was made for two
And I’ll hold on this time
No, I won’t leave you behind

Girl, I’ve been so cruel
I broke the golden rule
So shame on me for leaving you this way
I’ve turned this once before
I’ve left you wanting more
And we both know the fool’s rushing
I will wait for you
And I’ll hold on this time
No, I won’t leave you behind
I will wait for you
Uh uh uh, I will wait for you
Wait for you, I will wait for you.

My favorite Backstreet Boy is back with a romantic little ditty! A song about a love that lasts forever. It touches and tugs at the heart strings and I am happy for this song in a music industry where you can only elevate your status if you’re willing to sing about sex and drugs. It’s amazing how much Nick has grown as an artist. The video is refreshing. No half naked gyrating women, just Nick, open and raw as he plays the guitar while the story of an old couple unfolds.

Had Nick been singing about sex, his status would have blown up like Justin Timberlake, but Carter has never come across as a sex predator although he is a sexy man. He is currently a contestant on Dancing with the Stars and working on his 3rd solo album, All American, which has a November release date.

Relive sweet memories with his latest single.
